Go to My devices. Select Manage for the device that needs a new eSIM. Select Options & settings and select Get a new eSIM. Confirm your selection to Get a new eSIM. Follow the prompts to setup your eSIM setup. The inbuilt transfer for iOS 16.x will not help. You must send an SMS to Airtel to change your eSIM in this format: ESIM <[email protected]> to 121. This SMS must be sent from the eSIM connection. You will receive a new SMS for confirmation. Once you confirm, a new QR code will be sent to the email you specified in step 2. From the home screen, select the Settings app. 2. Select Cellular, then select Add eSIM. 3. Select Use QR Code. 4. Use your iPhone's camera to scan the QR code. There’s a button in the settings on iOS that says “convert to esim” it literally just does the activation of the esim line and kills the physical SIM card activation.
